AIMSR & ASBM institute celebrated Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj’s Coronation on 6th of June, between 11 am & 12 noon a day widely regarded as "Swaraj Diwas" to commemorate Shivaji Maharaj’s Coronation on this day in 1674. The purpose of the event was to celebrate the Rajyabhishek Ceremony of Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj, which marks the beginning of the Great Hindawi Swaraj. The event started with a brief history about Shivaji Maharaj and his coronation ceremony by the students.  Tutari - a traditional musical instrument was played to welcome the coronation ceremony.  The ceremony was performed by enthusiastic group of students who were traditionally dressed for the event. The RajyaAbhishek auspicious ceremony was performed with water & milk which was poured on Shivaji Maharaj idol as a symbol of purification. Floral tribute was paid to Shivaji Maharaj idol by Director Madam, faculty members and students.

A short speech capturing the greatness of Shivaji Maharaj as well as management lessons were shared with the audience. He was a successful warrior and strategist. He was very daring and was prepared to take calculated risks. Poetry recitation was narrated with explanation by students. Subsequently, a folk song video called 'Powada' was played – the song portrayed the victory over Pratapgadh Fort. The event was concluded with Shiv Garjana.  Director Madam, AIMSR shared that one can learn from great Shivaji Maharaj as he had exemplary leadership qualities such as respect for others, bravery and was a courageous leader.
